PMA BIPOC Network Update

The PMA is committed to creating an open environment to discuss issues related to racial inequality and injustice and will continue to advocate for effective change to make the PMA and Western an inclusive community for all. The newly formed BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color) Network held their first meeting on October 28, 2020. The meeting was an opportunity for BIPOC members across PMA to connect. Several members of Western’s BIPOC community attended the meeting and shared their thoughts on the next steps for the network.

The network plans to hold monthly meetings and invites all the PMA BIPOC members to attend the monthly meet up. The next BIPOC network meeting will take place on November 25, 2020 from 12 – 1pm.
